In the Fall of 2012 my style and voice came out in two of my writing classes. Autobiography taught me how to listen to other students after I read my piece allowed and listen to where the students got lost, tuned in, and related to my writing. I took into account how my writing made them feel and was I on target for what I was trying to accomplish. It was a great experience and I learned how to be free but stay focused at the same time with my writing. I learned a lot from the reflections of the other students and it was nice to hear from my peers about my writing. Since I have left the class, I am working to finish my autobiography to submit to a publishing company. The workshop style class has inspired me to continue writing my story because they are interested in what I had to say.
